HEALTH & FITNESS SCREENING SERVICE BODY COMPOSITION ASSESSMENT BODY MEASUREMENT & FITNESS TESTING
Health screening provides physiological data regarding the current status of the body and identifies any risk factors that may predispose to any form of injury, illness or disease.
LEEWAY PERSONAL TRAINING can provide this information for the following population:
- Individuals wishing to commence with any physical training programme and to assist with training protocols and key goal setting
- Individuals who wish to regular monitor their body measurements (e.g. BMI & body fat percentage) and personal fitness levels as part of their training programmes or periodically for general health reasons
As part of the health screening required, the ability to analyse and assess each individual is available from the following:
- Nutritional Advice
- Identify health risk factors (e.g. cardiovascular, pulmonary or metabolic disease)
- Identify biomechanical implications that may predispose to any form of injury
- Posture assessment
- Muscular (& other soft tissues) & joint assessments
As part of the health & fitness process, LEEWAY PERSONAL TRAINING will advise upon which screening and testing methods would be beneficial for each individual client. The cost is a fixed price for each 60 minute consultation with no hidden extras. The consultation will involve some of the following precise measurements and testing protocols to gather informative data:
Standard Measurements:
- Standing Height
- Bodyweight
Physiological Testing
- Blood Pressure
- Resting Heart Rate & other actual and predicted heart rate training zone levels
- Oxygen saturation, pre & post exercise
- Peak Expiratory Flow Rate (PEFR)
Body Composition:
- Body Fat %
- Total Body Water %
- Muscle Mass
- Physique Rating
- Bone Mineral Mass
- Basal Metabolic Rate
- Metabolic Age
- Body Mass Index
- Visceral Fat
- Waist to Hip ratio
- Body circumference measurements
Fitness Testing:
(Please note, dependent upon each individual’s request & suitability, that you contact LEEWAY PERSONAL TRAINING prior to your consultation appointment where we can discuss your booking and requirements as all of tests may not be applicable or appropriate for yourself)
- Cardiovascular & Cardiorespiratory Tests
- Flexibility & Joint Range of Movement Tests
- Strength & Muscular Endurance Tests
- Proprioception Tests
Once completed you will receive a comprehensive report for your reference and understanding.

£60 Fixed Price - 2 x 60 minute Health Screening consultations including report, with no hidden extras ( 2nd inclusive health screening to be used within 6 months dated from the 1st applicable assessment).
